Experiencing the shock of capture whilst on operations defined the future of my military career. The mental stress that followed was something I would never wish to repeat, yet it sparked a deep curiosity into how the mind behaves under extreme pressure — and why some people cope better than others.
Driven to understand these responses, my search for answers would lead me to specialise in stress management, performance under pressure and influence, designing and delivering Hostage survival programmes to Defence. From teaching Resistance to Interrogation to Special Forces or negotiating face to face with the Taliban in Afghanistan to gain life saving intelligence, I have operated at the pinnacle of military elite influence – changing mindsets to save lives.
The methods I used were not theoretical; they were proven in reality, under pressure, when consequences truly mattered. Those same principles underpin my work today.
My primary focus is motivational speaking. Through a unique, entertaining, and inspiring personal story, I take audiences from the shock of capture to the psychology of stress, influence, and decision-making under pressure. These talks translate elite military strategies into practical tools people can apply immediately — to reduce stress, think clearly, influence ethically, and perform when it matters most.
Alongside my speaking, I also offer coaching and therapeutic support for individuals who want to go deeper. Using evidence-based hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, NLP, and neuroscience-informed approaches, I help clients embed lasting change, build resilience, and improve performance.
Whether on stage, in the boardroom, or one-to-one, my aim is simple: to change mindsets, reduce stress, and equip people with tools that work in the real world — enabling them not just to cope, but to succeed.
This is your opportunity to tell me what your issues and challenges are, or how you want to increase performance and what you want to achieve. I will then explain how the brain works, how your problems or limitations materialise and how I can help you using evidence based clinical hypnotherapy, psychotherapy and NLP, reinforced through Neuroscience.
Through a coaching or therapy plan, we conduct a series of sessions together to target your issues, reduce your anxiety and stress levels and/or implement solutions for performance to help you achieve your goals. You will also be provided with guided audio MP3 files to assist treatment.
When we have achieved your goals, we can bring our sessions to a close. By now you will have a greater understanding in how your mind works and how you can maintain your resiliency or performance going forward. In doing so this will assist you in gaining the freedom you desire for the future.
Life evolves, pressures change, and new challenges can appear. Once your goals have been achieved, you always have the option to book ad-hoc “top-up” sessions as needed — whether for reassurance, recalibration, performance tuning, or support through a specific event or period of change. These sessions are entirely client-led and used only when you feel they add value.
